A young man identified as Kayode Mobolaji, who was arrested with an AK-47 riffle, has been remanded in Police custody on the orders of a Benin High Court.
Kayode on 20th August 2020 at Ogbeyan primary school, Ubiaja allegedly conspired with others now at large to illegally possess the AK-47 riffle with batch number AE 351851.
It was also alleged that he was caught with two empty magazines and twenty nine rounds of live ammunition which they used in robbing one Chief Ojezele.
Presiding Judge, Hon. Justice Efe Ikponmwoba according remanded him in Police custody.
