At least, five persons have been feared dead in a night fire which engulfed a section of the popular Kubwa ultra modern market, Abuja, the nation’s capital city.
Though the cause of the explosion which resulted in the cause of the fire could not be ascertained as at Press time, some alleged that it was as a result of adulterated kerosene inside one of the shops.
It was gathered that two other persons sustained various degrees of burns, even as the identity of the deceased were yet-to-be established as the fire was said to have started at about 8 pm.
Fire fighters were spotted doing their best trying to put out the fire.
