Former Ghanaian President, Jerry John Rawlings, has reportedly died from covid-19 related ailments at age 73.

Rawlings was said to have been hospitalized in Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Ghana after showing symptoms of covid-19.

The former Ghanaian leader was known as father of modern Ghana, he was born on 22nd June 1947.
