One 18-year-old Abdulrahman Sulaiman has allegedly stabbed his elder brother to death in Games Village area of Bauchi state, following an argument between them.
It was gathered that the teenager got angry with his elder brother for wearing his shorts, adding that their parents pleaded with him to calm down, but the plea fell into deaf ears and he picked up a sharp knife which he used to stab his brother.
According to sources, the elder brother was rushed to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH), Bauchi, where he was confirmed dead and upon hearing the news, their father collapsed and was resuscitated by neighbours around.
Confirming the incident, the Bauchi State Police Commissioner, Umar Sanda, said the suspect is in the police custody, emphasizing that full-scale investigation has commenced on the incident, and that the teenager would be charged to court upon conclusion of investigation.
