Chief Ernest Adegunle Oladeinde Shonekan, GCFR, former Head of the Interim National Government after Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, has died at the age of 85 on Tuesday morning.
Chief Shonekan headed the interim head of the Nigerian government between August 26 and November 17, 1993, and was ousted through a coup led by late General Sani Abacha.
