Gunmen suspected to be bandits have burnt some of passengers traveling from Sabon Birni local government area to Sokoto town.
It was gathered that he incident occurred around Gidan Bawa village at about 9am where the bandits barricaded the road and set the vehicle ablaze.
confirming the incident, Sokoto State Police spokesperson, ASP Sanusi Abubakar noted that the vehicle was carrying 24 passengers and that those killed might be about 17, while 7 of them were admitted in an undisclosed hospital.
