A 19-year-old boy, who allegedly impregnated a 13-year-old girl, has been arranged before a Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State Capital.
The girl told the presided over by Chief Magistrate Gomba Osaro, that she was four months pregnant for the boy.
The matter was instituted by the Human Rights desk of the Rivers State Police Command on charges of having carnal knowledge of an underaged girl who told the Court that the Suspect was her boyfriend.
The Chief Magistrate the adjourned to 16th August 2021 for consideration of
bail after he pleaded not guilty to the charge.
