A Resident of Abuja, identified as Hasan Taiwo, has allegedly beaten his lover to death.
It was gathered that the incident happened on Wednesday at the Lugbe area of the nation’s capital city, when Taiwo allegedly murdered his lover, Chibuzor Aloh, a mother of four, for allegedly using his phone charger without permission.
A Source disclosed that the deceased was said to have fainted after Taiwo beat her up but was revived by neighbours who were alerted by the children.
According to the Source, “It was later we heard that she did not go for further treatment after she was
revived and she locked herself up in the room.
Eldest daughter of the deceased was said to have raise the alarm on Saturday which attracted neighbours who rushed her to the hospital where she was confirmed dead on arrival.
The corpse has since been deposited at the National Hospital, Abuja, while the alleged murderer is said to be on the run.
Spokesperson of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, ASP Mariam Yusuf, confirmed the incident saying it was under investigation by the Police.And she said.
