One 25 year Ehizoje Omojeva has been remanded in the custody of the correctional center on the orders of a Benin High Court for alleged kidnapping related charges.
Ehizoje Omojeva allegedly conspired with others now at large, on or about the 10th September 2020, along Ugua-Ujogba Village Road, Ubiaja, Edo State, to kidnapp one Emmanuel Ano with an Audi 80 car with registration number BEN 949 AT an offence contrary to Section 2 (2) and punishable under Section 3 of the Kidnaping Prohibition (Amendment) Laws of the Edo State 2013.
The suspect and others now at large on the same date, time and place were allegedly in possession and control one cut-to-size gun without a valid license from the appropriate authority and other dangerous weapon and thereby committed an offence contrary to section 27 (1) of the Firearms Act, 2004 and punishable under Section 1 (3) of the Robbery and Firearms Special provision Act Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
