Governor Godwin Obaseki has finally emerged winner of the Edo State Governorship Election.
This follows the announcement of results from the last local government area, Ovia South West where the Governor polled a total of twelve thousand, six hundred and fifty nine votes to defeat Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu who had ten thousand, three hundred and sixty votes.
On the whole, Governor Godwin Obaseki total votes for the election is three hundred and seven thousand, nine hundred and fifty five from thirteen Local Government Areas while Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu gathered a total vote score of two hundred and twenty three thousand, six hundred and nineteen be from five Local Government Areas.
